One of the best things about COD POS is how flexible it is when it comes to sales. You can set prices for wholesale, retail, or use custom prices. For example, if you sell products in bulk, like a crate of eggs, and a customer requests a smaller quantity, such as half a crate, you can easily adjust the selling price and quantity on the app either by presetting all the custom prices for egg or by adjusting them at the point of selling. Just enter the quantity and sales price, and the app does the math for you. It is super easy to use, reducing errors and saves time.
To activate this feature, follow these steps:
- Go to products page and select the product you want to create custom prices for.
- Press the blue button on the bottom right corner of the page.
- Choose the type of price you want to create where units is smaller quantities like half a crate of egg, a quarter of a crate or even one egg and whole price the selling price for a crate of egg.
- At the point of selling eggs, enter the quantity you want to sell and choose custom price. You will see a list of the custom prices created above. You will also have the option of entering a custom price or creating one in percentage.
- Please note: You are expected to turn on custom price in edit business under settings. If this is turned off, you will not see the custom prices set neither will you be able to sell using custom prices.
