1. Keep track of products you owe your customers
This is one of those situations that can easily slip through the cracks. Imagine a customer comes into your shop and pays for 20 cartons of Indomie, but only takes 10 cartons or didn't take any at all . Your business now owes that customer. If you don't record it properly, you may forget about it especially when you're dealing with many customers and plenty of daily sales.
With the new Products you Owe feature, COD POS helps you keep track of products that customers have already paid for but are yet to collect. So when that customer comes back, you can easily check what is still outstanding.
2. Use customer deposits to clear debts
Here's another common situation. A customer buys something on credit, but that same customer also has money they've previously deposited with your business. Now you can use that deposit to clear their outstanding debt. Instead of keeping separate records and trying to calculate everything manually, COD POS makes it easier to apply the customer's deposit towards what they owe. This gives you a more accurate picture of the customer's balance and helps keep your records clean.
3. More payment options for debt management
Customers don't always pay the same way. One customer may transfer, another may bring cash, someone else may pay through POS and another customer may already have a deposit with you. With the new payment options in debt management, you can record payments made through:
So when a customer clears their debt, you can record exactly how the payment was made. It's a small detail, but these are the details that make your business records much easier to understand later.
4. Get a better understanding of your customers
Your customers are not all the same. Some buy from you every week, some make large purchases, some are new and some used to buy regularly but haven't shown up in a while. The new Customer Reports feature helps you see these patterns more clearly.

As your business grows, so does your list of products and customers. Finding one product among hundreds can become a chore. That's why we've also improved how you can filter your products and customers. When you go to your Ppoducts page, you can filter products by their different categories, making it easier to find exactly what you're looking for. The same applies to your customer list. You can now see customer activity based on how recently they purchased from you. This makes it easier to identify customers who are active, customers who are new and customers who may need a little follow-up.
